If you’ve been to Copenhagen’s Tivoli Gardens, you have not yet experienced all the fun rides and adventure in the Danish capital. There’s another great and huge theme park for the whole family waiting for you in Noestved and this is called the BonbonLand.
Bonbon Land is specifically situated in Holme Olstrup about 10 minutes away from the city center. The park, now measuring 130,000 meters wide, has undergone expansion through the years and today is one of the most frequently visited tourist attractions in Denmark. What’s great about visiting this place is you get to pay only once. Just pay the entrance fee and you can enjoy all the rides you want inside. You have a choice between the roller coasters, the boats and a whole lot more.
Children are most welcome in this wonderful theme park. As there are cartoon characters roaming around the place, kids can take photos with them. There’s also a children’s theater with all the characters present.
More than 60 attractions and activities can be experienced inside the park all free of charge. The most popular ones are the beaver-rafting course called Vandrotten and Vildsvinet. A recent addition to the park is the Fantasy World. Previously located in Ringsted, this features a huge exhibition of Santa Claus plus his home, his workshop and little helpers. In 2010, the Svent Svingarm and a new 4D cinema were also opened inside the park.
Each month, the park offers new entertainment shows. The sea lion show is just one of them. You won’t go hungry here with your family as there are great restaurants in place. You can choose between a grill buffet, a salad bar and pizza.
In 2008, BonbonLand was included in the Top 10 list of Denmark’s most popular attractions. So come on over and let the whole family experience the unique fun and entertainment that only this park can offer.
