Danes Go For a Healthy Lifestyle

Leading a healthy lifestyle is the way to go today. Whether you’re in your 20s or in your golden years, it won’t hurt to take the necessary steps to stay away from food and activities that don’t have any value to your health.

A healthy lifestyle means a lot of things to many people. This involves following a balanced diet, staying away from vices and engaging in daily exercise. Regardless of the type of person you are, it would help if you attend the Healthy Lifestyle Show at Copenhagen’s Forum. This two-day event will take place on October 8-10.

The activity focuses on all aspects of health and fitness, beauty, wellbeing, diet, alternative treatments and products that are environment friendly.  It is also considered to be the largest health fair in Denmark . This year, some 190 exhibitors are expected to take part in the event.

The Danes are good examples of how people should lead their lives. With the public bike system in place all over Denmark promoting a bicycle culture, the Danish people are able to exercise every day while riding their bicycles wherever they may be going. And as they pedal their way to work or school, they are not only doing good to their bodies but they’re also helping preserve the environment. As bikes never emit any harmful elements, degradation of the environment is minimized.

In terms of personal disposition, the Danes have been confirmed in past and recent surveys as being the happiest people on earth. And they have been consistent in surveys for more than 30 years now. For example, a 2008 study on international happiness done by the Leicester University in England showed Denmark as on top of the list. A main factor found by researchers that lead to the happiness of Danes is their low expectations in life. With low expectations, scientists agree that people tend to be less disappointed.
